Process or product optimization and NC programming

Nowadays, engineers have to be proficient in using various software tools in order to put their ideas into practice. However, the diversity or the complexity of the available software systems combined with time pressure do frequently affect the product quality or the production process.

In this context TES combines its know-how and experience in the field of mechanical engineering with the knowledge of various software systems and their functionalities either to generate NC programs and postprocessors - for non-conventional processes or machines also - or to improve customer's products or production processes.

A product optimization example is a geometrical modification of a part which guarantees a specified stiffness. A process optimization - for instance - would be an alteration of tool paths to ensure shorter machining times or to improve the process stability.
